Welcome to the Burn Ward Theater Company. You're wondering what is The The Burn Ward? We are a recently created theater company in Philadelphia consisting of current students and recent graduates of Drexel University. After several years of putting shows on together we realized that among us we had the talent and passion to start our own company and continue our theater education into our post collegiate lives and bring what we know and learn into your lives.

Last year marked the end of our first year as a company and during it we finished our first production Mittens Descending and Other Tales at the Philadelphia Live Arts Fringe Festival on September 5, 6 2008 to four sold out audiences!

Can't wait for more? Well we have almost finished creating our schedule of productions for 2009 which tentatively includes two main productions: one evening of new works featuring Philadelphia playwrights which will go up in May/June, and we have been asked to produce local Philadelphia Playwright Greg Romero's The Most Beautiful Lullaby You've Ever Heard in October 2009.

We are excited about the upcoming year and encourage you to stop back for updates as we will be scheduling these and many supporting events like fundraisers and parties to help raise the funds for this years productions!
